Concord For Hometown Heroes Banners
Where Hometown Heroes Banners Started is a mystery that no answer has been found for. We became introduced to this program after the death of my active duty brother. While assisting my father with my brothers estate I went to purchase a motorcycle battery, when I came out of the Attica Auto Parts store the department of public works was hanging a banner on a utility pole.I was mesmerized by seeing a banner that honored a local veteran, being publicly displayed.
I researched the programs like the one in Attica N.Y. In the late winter of February, 2018, I applied for my brother's banner in the town he attended school in, Attica N.Y. Just previous to Memorial day I was at my father's home and, notified by the village when and, where my brother's banner would be put up. It was a moving moment for my family. This is why we exist, to give "A Tribute With Honor"to friends and family of those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Military.
Our Goal
Our goal is to convince individual towns to allow us to operate in their town. We need to work with the town because only the town can get a permit to hang on a utility pole. Once we achieve this we can start preparing the process of getting orders started. Our continued goal of getting people to honor their loved ones buy sponsoring a banner. Our long term goal is to get every town to participate in this program to honor the veterans and active duty service members in their community. We are constantly trying to expand our coverage area, we currently work with nine towns, and are constantly talking to new towns. We do this to honor, not make a living.

This is a great way to show how thankful and proud you are of that special someone in your life, whether it is a family member, friend, or anyone you consider your Hometown Hero. It is a simple way to let everyone know that you admire the courage and sacrifice they have made for everyone. I am looking forward to seeing these banners on every street in every town across the state and beyond

Matt has been very accommodating with every step. Such a great thing he is doing. Recommend highly! If you don’t have a military member to sponsor, you can always make a donation for others who aren’t as fortunate. 🇺🇸
